The Color of Creativity

Meramec Springs Reflection Pool

Isn’t it fascinating how a smell, a touch, a sound, a taste, and especially a sight can affect creativity? Lately I’ve noticed how particular colors seem to deflate or energize my creative processes. For instance, orange doesn’t do much for me, but move the hue to red, and I light up from the inside out.

But of all the shades on the spectrum, one stands out more than any other to jive my juices. It’s green. Add variations, and it seems to jump my creative flare to a whole new level. So for today, I thought I’d share a gallery of my favorite green photo. Maybe they’ll inspire you like they’ve inspired me.

Feel free to share your own inspirational shots, after all, creativity comes in many colors. What’s your favorite creative color?
